    After attending CVENT Connect (an annual giant user group conference and trade show) and Personifest (Personify's annual educational conference), I gained some insights into the exhibition business from the perspective of other B2B event organizers – meeting planners. These are the five key takeaways we can use to improve the trade show experience. 
  • The trade show industry must pay close attention to the new data protection and privacy laws. Most organizers use and share the personal information of individuals to build databases for attendee marketing and collect data from exhibitor lead retrieval, attendee session tracking and beyond.
